Denis is originally from the United Kingdom and has lived in Hong Kong for 15 years.
His family are both English and Hong Kong Chinese, which means he is sensitive to eastern culture and even speaks a level of Cantonese.
Denis is a certified ICF registered Executive Coach; he provides both performance and developmental coaching. He specialises in coaching behavioural change and executive presence.
Denis is also a certified behavioural consultant, he also holds Human Resource Management and Banking & Finance Compliance (Regulatory Compliance, AML/CTF, Asset Management Compliance) qualifications from Hong Kong University.
Denis is also a member and approved trainer to the Hong Kong Securities Institute and a member of the Association for Certified Fraud Examiners.
Denis started his career in Life Assurance for Legal & General, during the recession of 1990-1992 which gave him a firm education in resilience. He has over 20 years corporate experience and held leadership roles within 2 Asia-based international banks. Denis is known for his knowledge of banking and insurance structures.
In 2012 Denis left banking to pursue his passion of adult learning and development. He now helps people increase their leadership, presentation, influencing, sales and executive presence. This is achieved by commitments to better habits and building self-regulation.
Denis began training in 2003 as a Chief Trainer and Trainer of Trainers for Learning Technologies Ltd. He hired, trained and led a team of over 70 people facilitating over 100 events / workshops per month. He is comfortable and energised in front of large or small audiences. He also regularly performs as Master of Ceremonies for Global Technology events.
Denis predominantly trains financial organisations. He is experienced in working with senior ‘Type-A’ individuals, developing trust through consultancy and collaboration. He also works with Asian Gen-Y professionals, helping them develop better interpersonal and assertiveness skills.
Denis designs and delivers his own quality coursework material but can also facilitate your existing learning programmes.
